Custom Flooring Installations, Inc.

Flooring Manager

Status: In Use and Currently Adding New Features

As a preferred service provider for The Home Depot, Custom Flooring Installations needed a custom software solution to manage the thousands of installation jobs they handle annually. The Flooring Manager program was the result and is used to manage the day-to-day operations that include processing purchase orders, managing special order materials, scheduling installations, tracking customer information, printing work orders, managing payroll, and producing key reports of each job. Over the last few years, Flooring Manager has had some major features added, most notably integration with The Home Depot’s Service Provider Net and SOSI XML Exchange interfaces. This integration allows purchase orders to be received electronically which eliminate double data entry and associated errors. This integration literally saves thousands of hours annually. Georgia Motor Trucking Association

Highway Watch Online Training Site

Status: Project Complete

In 2006, the state of Georgia passed a law requiring all new and renewing Commercial Drivers License holders to receive Highway Watch training. The Highway Watch program was a volunteer effort comprised of dedicated transportation professionals who were committed to guarding the welfare of the motoring public. In order to make this training as accessible as possible, GMTA contracted with us to develop a web site where a CDL holder could register, take part in the training (streaming video), answer a few questions, and then print out a completion certificate. The site was an overwhelming success and GMTA trained over 120,000 drivers in 14 months. The site was built from the ground up using ASP.NET. Read more about the Highway Watch Training site.

New Life Christian Church

Web Site Redesign

Status: Project Complete

In 2006, David Harris contacted us about redesigning the web site for New Life Christian Church in Douglasville, Georgia. We met with David and other members of the leadership staff to discuss the goals of the site. It turned out that their youth pastor, Brent Kall, was a former graphics designer and he provided several layouts for us to work with. Once the design was chosen, we converted the layout to a functioning web site and rolled it out in early 2007.
